Kendra Dority, Graduate Student Assistant
Kendra Dority is a PhD candidate in Literature at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her dissertation focuses on the ethics of reading in ancient Greek literature. Her research interests include early literary criticism and interpretive practices, histories of literacy and the alphabet, and the politics of language standardization. She has studied ancient Greek at UC Santa Cruz and UC Berkeley and was a student in Athens at the Arcadia Center for Hellenic, Mediterranean and Balkan Studies in 2007.
